APRIL 2012 update
There has recently been a serious incident at a BRC cross country course where the portable fence rotated and brought the horse and rider down. Fortunately neither horse nor rider
was seriously injured.
On investigation it was found the portable fence was not secured properly and the organiser of the event had not checked the fences. All cross country fences must be inspected before the competition starts and checked to ensure any portable fence is correctly secured in accordance with the BE Standards April 2011.
