2016 BRC Provisional Hat Rules
Further to the recent changes to hat standards, I attach the draft BRC hat rules for 2016. You will see that we will be accepting the new VG1 standard which is a new standard that some hats are now being made to. Please also note the information regarding fixed peaks no longer being permitted for the XC.
Further information regarding these changes and refresher training for all Official Stewards will follow later this year. We will also then be distributing new orange hat tags and asking for any remaining blue ones to be returned.
Blue hat tags are permitted until 31 December 2015. Orange tags and new tagging instructions will be distributed for use from 1st January 2016.
Please feel free to pass this information onto your Clubs and members for their information so that they have an early warning of the changes.
